This repo contains the code that were created and maintained to run a local Pick'em league between my college buddies. Scripts include:
automate_odds.py
- This script takes in the latest odds for NFL games and updates our spreadsheet with odds
scrape_picks.py
- This script scrapes my groupchat where each member announces their picks and uses regular expression to filter out for texts where picks are made. These texts are then pushed to the spreadsheet
nflbot.py
- This script automates a bot that we compare our picks against. Takes the latest lines and choose five at random for the bot to choose.
