[Release] LibraryBridge 0.1.0 — keep game files on NTFS, move Proton data to Linux storage

LibraryBridge is a small utility for Linux gamers who keep their game files on an NTFS drive. It moves Proton's compatdata onto a Linux filesystem while leaving the game files in the existing Steam library.

It copies and verifies the data, keeps the original as compatdata.backup, and provides an undo operation. It can also find existing GOG and standalone Windows games and automatically adds them to Lutris. It makes moving game libraries on NTFS drives from windows to linux really easy.

Available downloads:

• AppImage — desktop GUI; requires FUSE
• Desktop tarball — desktop GUI; no FUSE required
• CLI tarball — command-line tool; no display server required
• Source archive, checksums, SBOM, third-party notices, and recovery guide

Before using the Steam repair feature:

1. Close Steam.
2. Run a scan.
3. Run the repair with --dry-run first.
4. Review the proposed changes.
5. Keep the backup until the game has launched and saved successfully.

Current scope:

• Tested on x86_64 Linux with native Steam and Lutris
• Filesystem tests run in CI against a separate Linux destination filesystem
• Linux only
• ARM64, Flatpak Steam, and Steam Deck Game Mode are not currently tested
• exFAT libraries are detected but are not repaired automatically
• Arch users can use the generic Linux downloads; an AUR package is not published yet

I maintain LibraryBridge. This is an early release, so testing and feedback are welcome. Please include the LibraryBridge version, distro, kernel, filesystem/mount driver, Steam installation type, and redacted output when reporting a problem. Please do not upload saves, Proton prefixes, registry files, or Steam account data.
