Illegible search results list: text and background are the same white color (no contrast option in Preferences)

Problem Description

In the Searches section, when a search returns results, the file list is displayed with the text and background in the same white tone, making it virtually impossible to read the file names, size, fonts, type, etc.

The only way to identify each file is:

• Select it individually (it will be highlighted in blue and then readable), or
• Select multiple files using Shift + Ctrl + Page Up.

But in its normal state (without being selected), the row is unreadable.

As seen in the image, only the selected (blue) rows are readable. The rest of the list is lost against the white background.

What I've Already Tried

I checked Preferences → Interface and Appearance, and I didn't find any options to:

• Change the background color of the results list
• Change the text color
• Adjust the overall contrast of the lists

Question for the Community

Is there any way to correct this contrast from the current settings, or any configuration/theme file that can be manually edited? Or is this a bug in this new version?

I should mention that this is a version that was just released after almost 20 years without an update, so I understand that there may be some interface details that still need polishing.
