The dubbo.consumer.lazy property is part of the 2.x configuration model.

In Dubbo 3.x, reference initialization is handled differently.
ReferenceConfig#get() triggers initialization lazily by design,
and the lazy property is no longer present in the 3.x core.

Could you please clarify:

• Which dubbo-spring-boot starter version you are using?
• Whether you are using Dubbo 2.7.x or 3.x?
• A minimal reproduction example?

The dubbo-spring-boot-project repository mainly supports 2.7.x.
Dubbo 3.x Spring Boot integration has been merged into the main Dubbo repository.
