Elements inside SWTCanvasView are not accessible

Appium v2.13.1
Mac2Driver v1.20.4

The application under test uses 'Tab Group' (XCUIElementTypeTabGroup) that is SWTCanvasView according to MacOS 'Accessibility Inspector'. No elements inside the 'canvasview' are visible / available to the Mac2Driver. The Elements properties (inside the 'canvasview') are accessible to the MacOS 'Accessibility Inspector' but not the the 'Appium Inspector'.

Can the elements be accessible via XCTest? Appium mac2 driver depends on https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xctest. It could have cases that via Accessibility Inspector is accessible but not via the XCTest framework. Your case could indicate the case. Potentially, such an element can be accessible by adding https://developer.apple.com/documentation/uikit/uiaccessibilityidentification/accessibilityidentifier explicitly to the element, for example.
