Questionable Glyph used in Placeholders

Using the # glyph to denote a new type of placeholder tag is a bit troublesome because that tag is supported as a MODX comment, so the package ends up having the unexpected behavior of parsing MODX comments. It would probably be better to use a glyph that was not ear-marked by MODX (I'm not sure if the "#" comment marks are deprecated or not).

It is not used in modParser so it seems to be deprecated. The only reference is https://github.com/modxcms/revolution/blob/master/core/model/modx/modparser.class.php#L490 but it is only removed if goes after * in something like [[*#pagetitle]] whatever that means.
Glyph # is the best choise for this tag because it means number:
[[#3.pagetitle]] - pagetitle field of resource number 3.

The "#" seems to be supported (perhaps just a byproduct of the parser process?): we are using it throughout a large site to leave comments to the developers. "#" does mean number, but it's also used to denote comments in many languages... so I dunno... if there were a system setting or something to override it, it would allow us to use this plugin. As it is, we can't use it :(
