The altWinDirStat repo is 294 MB which is enormous for the source code to a tool. The size comes almost entirely from 95 MB of docs (and the .git packed versions of those files). Consider creating a repo that is more minimal, with the docs in a separate repo for those who care?
Literally the first thing I did after cloning this repo was run WinDirStat to find out why it was so bloated.
