ArmorPaint version:

Original version unknown, originally compiled/built on or around April 7th. New build version is "v1.0 alpha (2026-04-23) - 35e8945"

OS / PC Specs:
Os: Windows 11 - Direct3D12.
Gpu: NVIDIA 4060
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Ram: 32GB ddr4
Storage: Samsung SSD 990 EVO 2TB

Issue description:
(Assumed) Decal and Text Mask Tools are persistently saved in project file. (Known) Showing a shape in the center of the screen behind imported 3D models. Shape will change if view port is moved but will remain in the center of the 3D view. 3D objects that pass in front of the shape will be "echoed" onto the shape. Original project and application version was deleted/overwritten in an attempt to fix the issue. Issue is persistent across versions through the save file, unknown if able to reproduce.

If object and associated texture is opened in a new project/save, issue's no longer present. If saved, issues are not recreated.

Only appeared after a crash while painting base colors, re opening the save and toggling the 2D view. If 2D view is un toggled issue persists. Issue only appeared after toggling of 2D texture view.

Steps to reproduce:

Unknown, Issue appeared after re opening the save file after a crash (reason unknown.) Occasionally the 2D texture view will get copied over as well but I am unable to find the conditions to recreate it.
