Description

The current Weatherify application provides rich weather information, but the overall UI and information presentation can be improved to create a more professional and user-friendly experience.

Proposed Improvements

UI & Layout

• Reduce excessive empty spaces across the dashboard.
• Reorganize content into clear sections (Current Weather, Highlights, Forecast, Air Quality, Trends).
• Improve card layout and spacing for better information density.
• Optimize charts and graphs to utilize available space more effectively.

Visual Design

• Replace emoji-based elements with professional SVG/icon libraries.
• Improve typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Add dynamic weather-based backgrounds/themes for conditions such as sunny, rainy, cloudy, misty, and snowy weather.

Weather Information

• Add weather alerts and warning banners.
• Include precipitation/rain probability.
• Improve AQI presentation with health recommendations.
• Add moon phase, moonrise, and moonset details.
• Introduce a concise weather summary section for quick insights.

User Experience

• Improve responsiveness across devices.
• Add skeleton loaders for smoother loading states.
• Enhance error handling and user feedback.
• Consider support for favorite locations and search history.

Expected Outcome

A cleaner, more professional, and information-rich weather dashboard that improves usability while maintaining the existing functionality.
