Washingmachine Miele WQ 1000 WPS Nova Edition

Hi All,
I bought a Miele WQ1000 WPS waching machine which I want to integrate into home assistant.
I think the main question is this machine already able integrate into home assistant and is somebody having guidance?

What I did:

• Loaded Miele integration into Home Assistant and redirected to integration done
• Created a developer account at Miele and received via a link a clientid and client secret

Then I'm stucked, where do I need to add the clientid and client secret. Any suggestions?

At Integration I'm using default Home Assistant as application credentials
For this I used in Application credentials: Miele including the Client ID and Client Credentials from the received Miele email.

Strange part in 1 instance it saw wq1000 found, not it says Miele device found in the network.

Bottom line it could be this new generation will be available from Fall 2025?

I have the same issue… just not showing up in the integration

Installed Miele again from HACS and see WQ1000 popping up again.

Used in application credentials "Miele" and logged in with my Miele account.

Miele has been working with a new release of the API. There are some problems left and everything is not working as expected. They have confirmed that they are working to restore functionality.

I'm having the same problem. Get as far as connecting miele account to HA and get
Home Assistant Cloud
Failed setup, will retry: HTTP Status 500: fetching miele data.
No idea what to do next.

@Dave-Parry What appliance models have you got?
Newest generations of washing machines, dryers and dishwashers are not properly supported in the API. Error 500 means that the cloud servers failed to process the request from your HA.
You could turn on debug logging for the Miele integration to see if there will be any clarifying entries in the HA log. (But I doubt it). If you are up for some serious debugging you can try the GET /devices endpoint here https://developer.miele.com/docs/swagger.
Or we can wait for Miele to confirm what the problem is.

astrandb thanks for your reply. The machine model is WWB360 WCS. I don't know if it's a new model, but the machine is 1 week old.
I did turn debugging on but like you said saw nothing regarding Miele.
Not the best on homeassistant but will try the link you gave and let you know if I get any results. Annoying as HA integration was one of the reasons we got that particular machine.

@Dave-Parry I think that your model should be supported. The best way to find out where the problem is is to use Miele swagger site. You have to generate a set of credentials and enter them in the legacy Authorize form. Remember to save the credentials somewhere for future use.

astrandb I have registered for the developed site and I have saved the credentials.
By the legacy Authorize form do you mean the HA miele integration or is it a miele form?

Click Authorize button
Enter the credentials in OAuth2_Legacy form
Hit Authorize. When you return then Close
Then find the GET /devices endpoint and press Try it out
See what you get in the response box
