Miele wine conditioner light control not working

The problem

Miele KWTUS 7096E exposes the linterior light and this is seen by the integration but the control does not change the light or report the correct status of the light if set externally by Miele phone app

Does it work from the Miele app? What happens if you turn on in the app and try to turn off in HA?

App turns it on/off fine but HASS doesn't see the change - almost like it's looking at a different (erroneously named?) entity. I've not looked at the src to see how they are discovered when adding the appliance to the integration

Please get a diagnostic file from the device page and upload it to this issue.

It is clear from this file that light is not supported by the public API for your device even though the device capability documentation from Miele indicates that it should work.
There is nothing I can do in the integration.
You can disable the switch in the UI and send an error report to developer@miele.com. However, they are usually not very responsive.
