Also, one hiccup, (a) cannot function using a static IP for ethernet. When I try that, ifconfig simply displays a ipv6 address but no ipv4, and pinging anything displays network failure. Also, during boot it displays Failed to start dhcpcd on all interfaces. When I enable dhcp for ethernet then it can get a proper IP from the router and it'll work as advertised. The failure message will still get displayed on boot though.
If this will happen only on Jessie and will work fine on Stretch, this might get ignored, as we're focusing now on Stretch (because Jessie doesn't support newer RPi which Stretch does).
