By supporting ACP (Agent Client Protocol), you get immediate support for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Qwen CLI, partial OpenCode support, it would rip a pretty big benefit and would not require the community to rebuild a pretty hard-to-do-well-and-already-well-done set of features, allowing the community focus on the DX itself, which is core.
