Interest in having a select filter where multiple items can be selected?

I currently use this dependent-filter and am very happy with it. For my local installation, I needed a way to make the filters depend on an another filter where it's possible to select multiple items. The package I'm using is: https://github.com/rcknr/nova-multiselect-filter

So my question is: Would it be of interest if I would PR the local changes that I made so that it's possible to not only have a filter with a single value but one, where multiple values can be selected?

I'm looking for a solution to make a filter dependent on another filter but keep using the possibility to multiselect them. So, I would be interested in it :}
