Error in running code

Hi,
I have run the sample code and using Heidelberg Heyex Spectralis file (.vol) as input. However, get the following error
error: unpack requires a buffer of 4 bytes

I have also attached the following screenshot to easily locate error. Could you please guide me how to solve this.

I got the same error while running the code on Windows OS. However, it worked fine in Linux. Any suggestions/help from the repo developers would be highly appreciated.
