I've started following your updates to Scid with interest. In case it's of any interest to you or any of my code could be helpful to you, I have a fork of Scid called scidCommunity at https://github.com/whelanh/scidCommunity in which I've implemented Lichess, chess.com and chessdb.cn buttons in the PGN window that will automatically load the current scidCommunity game position into Lichess, chess.com or chessdb.cn (in your default browser). I also have a Lichess endgame tablebase lookup button as well.

[1] I'm still not fully confident with my Tcl/Tk skills and my understanding of how the Tcl codebase interacts with the C++ state management piece. There's learning left for me before I can take over this.

Yes, tcl/tk is not mainstream 😊. I'm trying to learn it as well. I sense you have good skills and I will be looking to learn from your work as well.
