Controlling path progress within Animation editor.

Hi, I was trying to make the path work with the animation timeline so I can key it with some screen FX.

But without success.

There is any way to achieve that?

So, I do not want to animate the spline points itself, I want to animate the overall progression of it, mainly the Distance Ratio value to be specific.

DistanceRatio can not be animated, unfortunately, cause it's a property, not a field
But you can animate Distance field.
I've attached an example, I hope it will help

There is no way that I create an interface variable to expose it and animate it? It would be a really nice thing to have since the distance max value changes according to the scale of the curve.

I say this because I want to use it as a UI Animation Curve tool, but if I cant have 100% control of the progression on the animation timeline that does not work for timed/keyed effects. Or there is a way that I am missing?

If having DistanceRatio instead of the Distance is what you want, I think you could modify BGCcCursor component to store ratio instead of the distance.
Delete Distance field and add DistanceRatio field.
Probably it's gonna be a pretty easy change- please, let me know if you have any problem while implementing it
