Hi, thanks for the package!
I’m running an event study using cont_did() with aggregation = "eventstudy". When I set base_period = "universal" versus "varying", I get identical pre-treatment estimates, including a non-zero estimate for event time g−1.
From the documentation, my understanding is that "universal" should normalize g−1 to zero. That does not seem to be happening in my case.
Is the universal base period fully implemented for event study aggregation, or am I misunderstanding how it should behave?
