I'm trying to get per-track genre tags for my entire library. I do not want any of beets' organization features. Here is the config I'm trying to use located at
%APPDATA%/beets/config.yaml:I import a test folder (which includes some very well known songs that definitely have genres on lastfm):
the songs import successfully. Then, I run
but there is no output.
The docs mention that by default
beet lastgenre"matches albums". I don't really understand what it means in the context of applying genre tags to my library. They say that to match individual tracks or singletons, you have to use the-Aflag. I try that as well:but this gives me a long list of errors:
No logs are produced in either case.
