No matching musicbrainz release found even when entering an ID

I'm having trouble importing a couple of albums, and I swear I'm using the exact same methodology I've used hundreds of times. The problem seems to be that beets isn't matching with musicbrainz, even when I give it the release ID.

The release is there, it's got 43 tracks. The same thing happens when I try to tag a bandcamp download that's also on musicbrainz. Beets sees the bandcamp release, but not MB.

I didn't search hard enough - #5835
