I believe it would make more sense to implement it using the proposal from #51. |

Fair. Wouldn't make much sense for folks if they don't use this. |

@FelipeFMA also found a working implementation here: https://github.com/marco-nicola/usbguard-simple-gui-py-qt/blob/master/usbguard_simple_gui_py_qt/usbguard_dbus_interface.py |

I’ll take a look, but to be honest, I’m not really into it |

I think USBGuard is an important security tool for many distros. So far, I haven't found a good UI for it that works and I feel it fits in the idea of the control panel where you can allow/block any connected devices. I am also happy to contribute if someone can help me with the GTK side of things 😅 |

Thanks a lot @quantumvoid0! Wouldn't it make more sense to call the polkit agent when running the USBGuard tab/actions instead of adding the current user to the USBGuard group? |

Feel free to close the feature request if it is out of scope of the project.
A good interface for USBGuard would be useful. It would be cool to have a tab to list connected devices and be able to allow/decline connections, list the rules, etc.
