error code 0000 when reading newly issued french passport

Brand new passport, issued literal hours ago, passy fails to read and spew out "read error 0000". checked the MRZ, deleted and reentered MRZ, updated the app to the latest version, nothing did it.

On official firmware.

I really don't know what to tell you, been trying to make it happen again, but of course it now reads perfectly in all DG fields (except fingerprints, but that also didn't read on my previous passport)
