Canonical Tag & Noindex Handling in Catalyst

 BigCommerce Cornerstone theme base version has built-in logic for handling the use of canonical tags or noindex in the case of URLs with query parameters. 
Since it was always stated that Catalyst would have feature parity with Stencil, is there a plan to include this feature out of the box in Catalyst?
