We've decided to migrate this project from our company's internal GitLab to GitHub, as well as publishing packages to PyPI.
This PR updates the repository to reflect that and to enable building and publishing packages via GitHub Actions.
Please note that I did not change links to GitHub in the CHANGELOG file, because the releases don't exist on GitHub. However I did use the opportunity to update all links in the changelog from our old to new GitLab domain because we haven't done that yet.
