v3.1.0
Quality of Life Update
Description: Version 3.1.0 has some quality of life improvements.
Improvements
- There is now OS detection on source install, if the OS is not one of the supported OS's the install will abort.
- There is now loading bars between building labs and tearing them down.
- The docker is now fixed, we were able to reduce its overall size as well as speed up loading times a bit.
- Added root error messages
- Did some cleaning on lab names
The future for Version 3
- We are still working on fixing the WPS lab, the issue seems to be extremely low level and an issue with mininet-wifi.
- We are working to add mouse support to the menu allowing users to click menu options instead of using arrow keys, not a huge update but should increase ease-of-use for the less technical.

WifiForge v3.0.0 Released
Version 3 of WifiForge is now available. This tool is now what we consider Stable . We no longer recommend running this tool in a VM if you don't want too, it SHOULDNT break things anymore.
Quality of Life Improvements
- Terminals no longer have left over commands after spinning up.
- Docker images are now automatically released on pushing to main.
- Logo now matches the GitHub
- Tool was converted from Curses to Blessed (Long Overdue)
- Began drafting up WifiProbe, that feature will be in version 4.
- Documentation is being revamped as we speak by @rufflabs
- Documentation for labs and all things WifiForge now exist at wififorge.github.io
Bug Fixes
- Random crashes fixed.
- Bettercap Lab was remediated and fixed in the docker.
What does the future look like?
We hope that the future of WifiForge is community driven and stable. The next big hurdle is WifiProbe, a massive addition to the tool. The idea is that this extra script will allow you to snapshot your wireless landscape and import it into wififorge. This would allow for simulated wireless landscaping allowing for hackers to train for engagements and for CTF reasons. Etc, etc.
