cascade effect not showing

Hey, I am playing with forge 43.1.1 on 1.19.2 with effective_fg-1.3.4 and it seems that the cascade effect doesnt work. I only saw blue particles when looking at waterfalls. I also saw some comments here on curseforge where people got a similar problem.

I'm also having this issue with the latest 1.18.2 version of the mod. The mod doesn't seem to register when the water is falling into other water anymore. Also, as a side suggestion, would it be possible to add a min height for the cascade effect in a config? That way the player could control how big the waterfall needs to be to get the effect.

Correction, this seems to an issue relating to this #23 (comment). Not sure if this is an issue on this mods end of on rubidiums side.
