`WinThumbsPreloader-V2`?

To what extent can a project named WinThumbsPreloader-V2 be considered a continuation of the indefinitely frozen WinThumbsPreloader? The last release here was in early 2018, WinThumbsPreloader 2.0.0 Beta 6 was released in early September.

Started by Mutahar to address a number of shortcomings (like the lack of proper multithreading in the main branch) and to add a number of quality of life features to automate generation jobs, as well as a functional UI.
