May I ask if the scale of the final Gaussian model you generated is normalized or can it be restored to its original scale？

Hello @Grizemc,

We aim to directly predict in metric scale, rather than in a normalized scale, so you shouldn't need to do restoration to achieve the original scale.

This predicted scale should (hopefully) match metric datasets such as ScanNet++, but will be inconsistent with datasets which use COLMAP to reconstruct poses up-to-scale, such as Re10k and ACID. In these cases you may need to use the same pose estimation methodology as DUSt3R/MASt3R to estimate the our predicted scale, and compare that with the scale implied by your ground truth camera poses.
