A quick UI hiccup I ran into was when I was designing ranges--It seems that clicking on the hand combo auto-assigns that hand to the paint % (which I would thing should be called weight %?). Coming from other apps, I intuitively wanted to click on a hand to either remove or include it, but had to play around a bit to learn that if I wanted to remove a hand I had to set paint to 0% and then click the hand. This was a little confusing at first.
I would maybe consider one click to include the hand at 100%, and another click to remove the hand (if it's at 100%). For hands included at < 100%, one click could set the to 100% and then another would remove them. This would save a lot of time scrolling with the mouse wheel when making a range
