Hi there,
I was wondering if the following is an actual bug or just happening by design.
The Szenario
The addon-version I am using: 2022, 8, 28 (afaik the latest available)
The Blender-Versions I tested this with: 5.0, 4.2, 3.2.2 (each one produces the same issue)
The editor I am using to open MAP files: Valve Hammer 3.5
The issue
When exporting a simple textured cube using the following settings I am getting different results when exporting the cube as a brush compared to when I export it as individual faces. The former would give me partly or completely incorrect texture-vectors and -scales (maybe offsets too) whereas the latter method would give me the correct and expected ones:
I have tried to figure out what could be the reason for this but due to my lack of knowledge of Python and the Blender API I couldn't figure out any obvious reasons for this behaviour so far.
I believe that this shouldn't happen, as it works very fine with one method (face) but not with the other (brush), without there being a major difference between them concerning the actual texture properties.
Here are the blend-files and the exported maps in a zip-file in case anyone wants to check it out and try to recreate the issue:
Example_Scene.zip
I will in any case try to figure this out on my own because it would actually be really helpful with a Goldsrc/Half-Life modding project of mine.
I would be deeply grateful for any hints and tips and would even be willing to donate a few bucks if support could be provided.
Thanks a lot in advance!
