Error notifications are cryptic

Some error notifications are not easy for users to further de-bug.

When model fails to run, users should be able to make some rudimentary clues to diagnose where the root cause of the error. However, the current LSM error often give messages such as "Cannot finish the simulation process properly. Please make sure run control parameters and simulations assumptions are set appropriately."

Are these messages in Excel, or are they being generated by R? Can you provide an example, or screen shot?

One specific cryptic error message is the "occurrenceDate is not in DATE format". See the 8/17/2022 Test section within Wiki for the context in which this message appeared.

I found out later that occurrenceDate appears in this message because it is the field immediately after ClaimID in the Claim Data sheet. I reordered that sheet and moved the reportDate immediately after the ClaimID. The error message changed to "reportDate is not in DATE format", The error message always refers to the field in the line immediately after the "ClaimID" line.
