[FR] Adjustable Auto Scale Intervals

Please describe the idea

The current auto scale is much too small/frequent for my use cases.

I would use something like this for Visible Interval and Points/Hour or GroupBy :

• 8h : 2-4 points/hour
• 24h : 1 point/hour or GroupBy Hour
• 7d : GroupBy Date
• 30d : GroupBy Date
• 90d : GroupBy Week

Perhaps a setting like: Auto Scale Target Visible Points, rounded to the nearest sensible timescale for intervals or GroupBy buckets.

+1 for this. I'm using date_picker_group with D, W, M and Y views and currently have to choose between group_by: hour (too heavy for Y view) or group_by: date (too coarse for D view). Auto-scaling the group_by based on the selected period would solve this perfectly.
