Is this package abandoned?

Hi @cemordaunt,

I see that this package hasn't been updated in 3 years, even though there are a few PRs and open issues. Is this package abandoned?

I ask because a few of our researchers at University of California, Davis come to office hours with questions about comethyl. I'd like to know whether I should recommend they use some other package (if this one does not have a maintenance plan).
