This is, instead of doing this at installation:

    git config --global diff.renames true
    git config --global diff.renameLimit 200000
    git config --global credential.helper cache
    git config --global credential.helper 'cache --timeout=9999999999999'

Cache a user's credentials for facade each time it starts. That way facade won't get stuck on repositories that require authentication to clone. Which, sometimse is the case.

Wherever facade has a shell session where its issuing git commands, it should get credentials.
