Could you add the brand name of "Deerrun" to the repo so it can be found by search?
I got a canadian version of the Deerrun Q2 Urban Smart Walking Pad, they said it could be controlled by a remote and was ready to go out of the box. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere that it required an app before you could use it. (also, the url says Q1, but the website says Q2 in the model name, *smh*)
The 2 button sequences you mentioned also worked for this model (just reiterating the button sequences for completeness).
MINUS, MINUS, MINUS, PLUS, and HOLD MINUS for 3 SECONDS enabled the remote to work until the power was turned off and back on.
MINUS, MINUS, MINUS, PLUS, and HOLD PLUS for 3 SECONDS enabled the remote permanently (as far as I can tell)
I searched github for the deerrun q2 name, but it was when I searched the pitpat name that I found this repo.
