@makaherpasswordlostmedia Thanks for offering to help investigate older-device support. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 are significantly older than our current test devices, so performance and compatibility are unknown.

Could you please provide:

• Exact iPhone model and iOS version
• Whether SunPad installs, launches, crashes, or fails before installation
• A SunPad diagnostic log from any build that successfully starts
• The exact SunPad build or commit you tested
• Which game scene was running and approximately how long
• Whether Experimental Performance Mode was enabled

If the app launches, use SunPad’s Share Diagnostic Log… option from the in-game menu. Please do not send your game image, save files, Apple signing files, or other personal data.

The current public build targets iOS 16+, so iOS 14.6 and iOS 15.8 are not supported by the released artifact yet. Logs from any working build—or a clear installation error—would help determine whether older iOS support is technically feasible and where the main limitations are.

I’ll be looking into the source code of your port soon—specifically the code that’s incompatible with iOS 14.6–15.8.
For now, I’m busy with my own iOS port—Crash Bandicoot.
It’s great to see other people working on iOS ports.

Not yet, I can't work on projects while I'm working part-time to pay off my electricity bill, I worked all year so I could work from my laptop without electricity, and now I'm working on a payday loan so I can work in comfortable conditions. But when I have a free hour, I'm working on a Crash Bandicoot port for iOS.

Ok, I understand. Porting the game to significantly older iOS versions is admittedly not a priority. If more people ask for it, I'll do it.
