Editing encrypted notes is quite cumbersome, as it requires decryption first, followed by editing, then re-encryption, and the need to reset the password. Could the app support editing encrypted notes or allow re-encryption with the original password after decryption? Additionally, both Android and iOS platforms must account for automatic encryption when the app in the background.

You see plugin has a very limited controllability, see #3. And there is already work going on internally for this feature refer this forum
