Stop With Spacebar / Click

How hard would it be to add functionality to stop the reels on spacebar? This is a pretty common feature for most online slot machines (and some real ones) and would be awesome.

This ended up being pretty simple.

I removed the game_state != STATE_REST statement of the handleKey method, having it pass straight to spin().

In spin(), I changed the game_state != STATE_REST statement to:

if (game_state != STATE_REST) {
 while (game_state != STATE_REST) {
   logic();
   render();
 }

  return;
}

Would you agree that's the right route?

That looks like a fine way to do it.

Do such machines let you stop each reel separately, or all reels at once? Does it matter if the reel already slows down before stopping? I actually don't play a lot of slot machines, so I'm not familiar with what's out there.

Either way, in this case whatever is fun is better. This isn't meant to be a balanced machine and the algorithm isn't meant for dealing with real money.

Every machine varies. Some stop one reel at a time, others stop all at once.

I actually think I'm going to keep this KarmaSlots repo very simple -- kinda no-frills slot machine that's very easy for people to fork and build upon. If you'd like to add a bunch of features in a fork I think that would be great.
