CRIS used outside UK

Code4REF is not limited by REF - recording research software in CRIS is useful for many purposes, for example, to get an overview of all research software developed at an institution. Hence, while REF is a UK-specific procedure, Code4REF may be interested for those outside UK too.

In the recent Force11 Software Citation Implementation Working Group call @mfenner mentioned an open source system VIVO which is used in some US institutions. For further information see:
