Recording Setup

Equipment

  • Camera: Logitech C920 or better
  • Microphone: Blue Yeti or lavalier
  • Lighting: Ring light or softbox
  • Screen: OBS or QuickTime

Recommended Tools

  • OBS Studio (free, cross-platform)
  • Camtasia (paid, easier editing)
  • Descript (free tier available)

Editing Guidelines

  • Target: 15-25 minutes per video
  • Format: Intro → Content → Summary → CTA
  • Background music: Epidemic Sound (free trial)
  • Thumbnail: Consistent branding

Hosting

Options for hosting videos:

  1. YouTube (unlisted) - Free, easy embed
  2. Vimeo - No ads, professional
  3. Cloudflare Stream - Integrated, paid
  4. AWS S3 + CloudFront - Full control, paid

To Generate Videos

  1. Create a script using DEMO_SCRIPT.md
  2. Record screen + voiceover
  3. Edit for clarity
  4. Upload to hosting platform
  5. Update index.html with video links

Note: This curriculum works with external resources initially. Record videos for a fully self-contained bootcamp.
