[HELP] Project Abandoned?

There seems to be no update on issues and no updates for nearly two years. Is this abandoned?

Hello! I was away for some other projects, but I plan to start working in this project again starting January 2024.

I'm personally waitin on #418, but FWIW there is also https://github.com/fibo/trunx which I have been successfully using on another project, so if you don't have time then perhaps worth suggesting people move to that?

Hi @davetapley I'm already working on it. (updating the old packages and test was more challenging that I initially estimated. but I plan to create a brand this weekend with the work for the next version.

• Updating All packages to latest version
• Update storybook
• Migrate test to RTL
• Update to Bulma v1
• Starting a new documentation page (not only Storybook)
• Improved types (great part of the reported bugs are related to TS definitions)

We are planning to rewrite the project from Vue to React and I would like to continue with Bulma so I don't have to redo the whole project. I see that nothing has happened in the last year and the latest version of Bulma is still not supported. Is that in the plan or is this project abandoned?

Tbh I would like to decorate more time but currently I'm not able to do it. For the time being I could check the open pr'r and merge contribution until I finish a couple of other projects.

I have a an open branch with several changes (for the next major versión) unfinished but I don't think It will be merged anytime soon

you can try Trunx: https://github.com/fibo/trunx

It is up to date with latest Bulma. Actually Bulma is not a Trunx dependency so it is up to you how you install it and which version to use.

It supports both React and Preact. You could even use it with Vue, if you just want the Bulma classnames (see the trunx/classnames function ).

The project is actually done, it is a thin wrapper around Bulma classes and do not need effort to maintain it. I wrote it to be as simple as possible so that the project can last long.

alternatively i created a fork updated to react 19: https://github.com/qbalukom/react-bulma-components
for now with gutted storybook and tests, but at least it works 🤷
