`Feature`: Scheduler for backup maintenance

It would be very useful to have a feature that allows configuring a scheduler via the config file.

Details

One option would be to define an exclusion window, or alternatively to define a time window during which the migration processes are allowed to run. For example this can be helpful to pause the migration automatism of VMs during the time window for backups.

while I can understand this request, I think this can already easily be solved by systemd timers like:

[Unit]
Description=Run myjob at specific times

[Timer]
OnCalendar=Mon..Fri 08:00
OnCalendar=Mon..Fri 18:00
Persistent=true

[Install]
WantedBy=timers.target

This could also be used in addition to config mgmt which ready maintenance windows for specific nodes or platforms and templates this file continuously. This way, it could be just called from systemd as oneshots instead running as a daemon.

Hi again and thanks for the idea. Yes of corse this is possible. However i use the proxlb docker container and have no idea how it can be solved there. I asume there is no systemd in the image.
