Color in plan gantt chart

Is it possible to assign colors to different bars in the Gantt chart in plan? 200 bars on one Gantt chart, 6 different categories, would like a different color bar for each category. Thank you.

This is not possible at present, but it could be added. I'll take a look within a few days.

Actually, I'm wrong. See example 4 of the help from ?plot.gantt.

Thank you! Using the col.done and col.notdone functionality, I am able to create a chart with two distinct colors. Is it possible to expand this functionality to create a vector of colors, say ("red", "green", "black", "yellow"), but of variable length, and a property,, say typecol on each ganttAddTask, so that, for example, typecol=2 would plot a green bar? This is an excellent package!

Suppose you have 3 items. Try

plot(g, col.done = 1:3)

or whatever. The col.done and col.notdone are vectors. So you can organize them in the plot call.

There is no way to do that with ganttAddTask ... just do it separately, in the plot call.
