Feature request: Settings page

I'm wondering that this app has no settings activity. But I think there might be some stuff which the user could configure:

• Default view state of an entry (Web-View or Text-View)
• Enable/disable the offline cross-device sync
• Clear all data?
• ...

This is definitely on my list, but the first version will miss it.
Then there also will be an about screen with all the libraries used and their licences and all the persons that helped me to create this app. So - but only if you like to - also you will be mentioned there.

To the proposed settings:

• Default view state of an entry (Web-View or Text-View)
  It's just i'm legally not allowed to do that. The web page always has to be displayed first ("reguläre Werknutzung eines urheberrechtlich geschützten Werkes") before i'm allowed to parse it (and therefor alter the intellectually property).

• Enable/disable the offline cross-device sync
  Do you mean to generally disable the communication layer (sending broadcasts to find devices etc.)?
  Or to disable synchronization with a device you previously allowed to sync?
  The latter one is also on my list: An overview to see and edit all synchronized devices and all devices you ignore.

Hmm good question. I think both:

• Maybe see a list of devices this device is connected to, and offer the option to disconnect sync with this device
• I'm not sure how the syncing is implemented, but in case there is a popup every time another device is found, that might be quite annoying. That's why I proposed to be able to either:
  • disable the syncing in gerneral?
  • stop to look for new devices?

I think you can better descide whether this might be usefull or not. I very depends on how it is implemented :)

You're definitely right. Also think about the app really has a lot of users and you're in a public place with free wifi - suddently a lot of 'Device found' messages would pop up. Absolutely worth adding that option.
Will add it in the next major version.
