Feature request: auto-save option

I'm a lazy person and most of the time, I don't press the save button. I'm personally a big fan of "auto-save", so that there is no save button at all and everything I enter is saved as soon as I leave the activity. Maybe except when I press a "Dismiss" button at the end.

Would be awesome to enable such a behavior in the upcoming settings page! :)

First i was against it, was sometimes a edit quite a lot (type some text, add some tags, type some text again, add some more tags, ..).
Then each time i press the Apply button the item gets saved and therefore a new revision created in my document based NoSQL database. It's not like in SQL databases where you have a single row for each entity in a table, but for each revision a complete new document gets created and saved to the file system with (mostly) the same values from the previous document / revision. So this will take definitely more space on the user's device.
But then i think i will have to run the compact (= long running clean up task) on the database more often then put the count of max saved revisions per entity down from its default value of 20 to 4 or 5 or so.
