Adding UnitType to common ontology with DDI glossary definition.

Class of units defined by essential characteristics.
Examples: person, household, business establishment.
A kind of entity based on a set of characteristics.
The characteristics are specific to the study context. Ideally a category of individuals in a non-overlapping classification.

Adding mapping to Lifecycle. Existing definition:

A Unit Type is a class of objects of interest. A Unit Type is used to describe a class or group of Units based on a single characteristic with no specification of time and geography. For example, the Unit Type of "Person" groups together a set of Units based on the characteristic that they are "Persons". It concerns not only Unit Types used in dissemination, but anywhere in the statistical process. For example, using administrative data might involve the use of a fiscal unit. "Object class (ISO 11179)" is a synonym of UnitType. [GSIM 1.2]

Adding mapping to CDI. Existing definition:

Unit type is a type or class of objects of interest (units). Unit type is the most general in the hierarchy of unit type, universe, and population. It is a description of the basic characteristics for a general set of Units. A universe is a set of entities defined by a specialization of a unit type. A Population further narrows the specification to a specific time and geography.

Dan, I am not conversant in YAML etc so as to detail I can't comment. However, in terms of the Unit Type content it looks good to me and reflects the content of Common Core, CDI, and Lifecycle accurately.
