[BUG] 1.21.7 normal signs set back to first sign after clicking

when placing the sign in the 1.21.7 version, once I press the tick, it just sets back to the 10km/h speed limit, which is the first one. It saves the size adjustments, and any other like the complex signs work just fine.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Place and click in the editor of a normal sign
2. Click on any other sign in the menu
3. Press the tick
4. It sets back to the 10km/h sign

Mod version: 1.2.0

Minecraft version: 1.21.7
