Mac OSX - No USB Fidget Detected error

Problem:
The device does not get recognized on my Mac OSX.
I see the requirements and I do have Developer Tools installed. What am I missing?

Are you running on Yosemite? I am experiencing the same problem.

Yea. I can see the device when I run system_profiler SPUSBDataType. I just cannot seem to connect to it.
