recognized problems with some vars written into the fw setting contao-backend:

1. $global-/$base-font-size won't be processed inside rem-calc();
2. $color-palette has to be adapted for the new Version, also maybe gutter and other variables which has an seperate field into the form of an fw setting
3. seams like the php-plugin observe !default and other details of sass functionality; check ruby compiling against compiling with this php-plugin explicit [help-wanted]
