Timeout

Hi,

I'm using the fliclib-linux-hci flic-daemon on a raspberry pi 3. I paired the button via simpleclient and configured some scenes via elgato eve. Generally, the button works as expected. But from time to time, it seems to hang until I open eve.app on my iPhone, deactivate a button-rule and re-activate it.

In the homebridge.log I get something like

Any thoughts on that? The issue does not help the WAF ;)

How did you get eve to pull the button into the app? I've got a raspberry Pi 2 with a Bluetooth dongle and using the flic daemon and have the button paired to the daemon and also can see when I push the flic button that the daemon recognises it but it doesn't seem to pull into HomeKit...? Is there some kind of trick to getting that part to work?

@michis0806 sorry for the very late reply (i'm not getting notifications of new issues for some reason).

The logs seem perfectly fine (ie: I see the identical connection/disconnect/reconnect in my logs).

However, what you are explaining about the rule deactivation could be related to things I have experienced in the past with HomeKit in general. In my own set over the past couple of years that I've been playing with HomeKit, I have often had multiple devices acting as a Home Hub at the same time. In my scenario, I have multiple AppleTVs and one always powered iPad all acting our Home Hubs..at the time, I had all sorts of problems that you described. Purely, my chance I found that if I logged my AppleTVs out of HomeKit and only use my iPad, I found that my HomeKit config was always rock solid...and have had problems since with rules deactivating.
